I asked the question as to how people can become a member of teh Bluewater Snowmobile Club.
Terry Cooper, the club president was kind enough to sned me this reply..
I thank Terry for the info.
Rob,
I don’t see the need for anyone to become a member of the Bluewater Snowmobile club. We call people members who purchase trail passes from us. The only advantage they would truly have is to receive our news letter and any other pertinent mailings. We simply use the permit list as a means of identifying all the sledders in the area. If you or anyone else would like to receive news letters etc. simply let us know and we can add them to our mailing list. If they do not have an “E” mail address AND they have purchased a trail pass we mail a hard copy of the news letter to them.
The bottom line is, if you know someone who would like to be considered a member, send us their “E” mail address so we can mail them our correspondence, then come on out and enjoy the facilities. They can even volunteer their time at no cost to help out the club.
If on the other hand they wish to become an OFSC social member without purchasing a trail permit, the cost is $10.70 (GST included) which entitles them to receive the Ontario Snowmobile Magazine and atlas for the following season. I have membership applications if anyone would like one.
Regards,
Terry
