Many theories and opinions on how people decide what new or used sled to buy or even if they buy a new sled. How do you decide?
You can choose more than one category.

For used sleds it's how long they have been in the haymow and how they've weathered the years.
When it comes to new sleds I can be impulsive to a degree, but generally do a fair bit of checking on the internet. I like to attend all the Spring Preview shows because you have to see them and sit on them. Looks and style factor in because they have to do something for me. There is so little to choose between all the makes that it usually comes down to price and dealer.

I don't purchase new sleds and don't expect I ever will. Too me they are too much money for the time that i can use them and they depreciate in value too quickly. I have a great time riding any one of sleds that i paid anywhere from $100 to $1000. and I can't see my enjoyment increasing by ten times if I were to spend 10 times the money. I get as big a kick out of taking a sled someone gave up on making a rider out of it as I do riding it. I am brand loyal to Bombradier mainly because i like to deal with the devil I know. Its a good thing not everyone is the same as someone has to keep these dealers alive so that when I can't find a part I need at the boneyard or I'm rebuilding an engine I have a place to go to get new parts. Well there you have it; my opinion
